Position Description and Responsibilities: The Master Control Operator airs programming, records satellite feeds, digitizes commercial and promotional spots, and ensures that WBUW is providing the highest quality broadcast possible

Qualifications and How to Apply: This position works overnights, 11pm – 7am. It requires operators to be attentive during their shift. Previous experience as a Master Control Operator is helpful, but on the job training is provided. The job can move from a very fast pace to long periods of idle time, so the candidate must be able to stay alert and handle pressure well. Knowledge of tape systems (Beta, DVC Pro, etc), Vectorscopes and Waveform Monitors is necessary but training can be arranged. Other skills relating to the broadcast industry, such as video production or editing, are a plus and familiarity with computers. The ideal candidate will be very enthusiastic, flexible, and professional.
